北五味子500克，洗净，水浸1宿去核，再用温水将核水洗去，取余味，通置砂锅内用布滤过，入好蜜1500克，炭火慢熬成膏。待数日后略去火性，每服一二茶匙，白滚汤调服。火侯难于适中，先将砂锅秤定斤两，然后称五味汁并蜜，煮至1120克，成膏为度。一云，连核俱捣碎，浸出味来，再滤去渣熬之。又五味子如法为细末，每服以好酒下方寸匕，甚妙。
