解表药以辛散轻扬见长，善开腠理、疏卫气，是中医应对外感表证的首选之品。本品柽柳味甘、辛，平，入肺、胃、心经。功善发表透疹，祛风除湿，为解表药中的常用要药，主治麻疹不透，风疹瘙痒，风湿痹痛。临证须辨表里虚实与兼夹之证，汗而有度、中病即止，体虚之人尤当慎用。【使用注意】发汗解表之品辛散耗津，表虚自汗、阴虚盗汗及热病后期津亏者均不宜单用；中病即止，不可过汗。
