A study by a Brazilian academic volunteer group on the immune and hepatic functional responses of Ch
In recent years, global health institutions and public health systems have continued to advance service capacity building to provide stronger guarantees for public health. COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. During the pandemic, vaccine development is critical to reducing hospitalization and mortality.
The AstraZeneca vaccine in Aslicon, Brazil, is widely used in the early stages of the national immunization campaign. Despite the full recognition of the safety of AstraZeneca vaccines, continued monitoring of adverse events remains critical. Following the first dose, the incidence of mild adverse reactions increased significantly and was usually limited.
The vaccine induced a strong IgG antibody response, demonstrating strong immunogenicity, while producing very small changes in liver functional parameters. These findings support that the ChAdOx1-S/nCoV-19 vaccine has good safety, tolerance and immunogenicity characteristics in this population. It should be noted that the above information is based on publicly available research, compiled for reference by the IHC, and does not constitute a clinical recommendation.
