gout

Gout is a metabolic disorder caused by metabolic disorders or uric acid secretion disorders that cause elevated levels of uric acid in the blood, the deposition of uric acid crystals in the joints, soft tissues, kidneys, and so on, causing recurrent acute arthritis, the formation of gout stones and kidney damage. Gout has long been known as 'king's disease' because of changes in the diet, increased intake of meat, seafood, and alcohol, increased incidence of gout, and age-related decreases. Uric acid in the human body is the end product of metabolism, and its sources include sodium (exogenous) and cellular breakdown (internal) in food, and excretion is mainly dependent on the kidneys.

When uric acid is produced in excess or excretion decreases, the concentration of uric acid in the blood exceeds the concentration of sodium and phosphate, and uric acid crystals are deposited at lower temperatures, causing inflammatory reactions in areas such as the salivary glands. Risk factors include: genetic factors, drinking men, obesity, high-fat diets of animals, intestinal fluid, seafood, chicken eggs, drinking beer, sugar-containing drinks, especially certain medications, such as aspirin, and dysfunction of the urine. A typical bout of gout is acute arthritis.

It occurs most often at night or early in the morning and is most commonly associated with the first bout of arthritis. It is characterized by redness, tingling, fever, pain, severe pain such as cutting a knife, and the patient can't even bear to touch a bed. The bout is self-relieving, but can recur, with no symptoms.

If the uric acid is not controlled for a long period of time, a large amount of uric acid deposits can form gout stones, which are common in eardrums, surrounding joints, damaging joints and bone marrow, and lead to dizziness; it can also cause kidney, uric acid disease, and constipation, and severe progression to dysfunction. Diagnosis of gout is based on clinical performance and the determination of uric acid in the blood. Acute seizures in joint lubricants or gout stones are the gold standard for determining uric acid crystals.

Dual-energy CT scans can show harmless uric acid crystal deposition in the joints. A rise in uric acid in association with typical symptoms is usually diagnosed, but attention should be paid to the normal uric acid in a small number of patients with acute seizures. Treatment for gout is divided into acute period control and long-term reduction of uric acid management.

Intermittent and chronic periods are at the core of long-term control of blood uric acid levels (usually below 360 μmol/L, with gout stones less than 300 μmol/L), with the option of vinyl alcohol; non-busy it suppresses uric acid production, or chamomile to promote uric acid secretion, starting with small doses under the direction of a doctor and paying attention to adverse drug reactions. Dietary management is equally important: limiting high-fat foods, abstaining from alcohol, avoiding sugary beverages, drinking more than 2000 milligrams of water per day; promoting uric acid secretion, weight control. Gout is a preventable chronic disease.

People with high uric acid should be regularly monitored for uric acid in the blood and prevent the first seizures through dietary adjustment and lifestyle interventions; those who have been diagnosed need long-term regulation of uric acid treatment, and do not stop medication for long-term absence of seizures, otherwise the risk of damage to the gallstones and bile will persist. Regular use of medication, regular checkups, restraining of the mouth, walking legs, and the gallstones can remain completely stable for a long time.
